Garba-The Best Dance Form.

                                        Garba Raas

Garba is a dance form which is originated in Gujarat .It is performed on Navratris .i.e. for complete 9 nights .Garbas are performed around a centrally lit lamp or Statue of Goddess Shakti . I and my cousins used to go for Garba when we started our college . Initially at the starting days i found it very difficult to dance but, I started dancing well when i started enjoying those beautiful songs .We used to be very excited all the nine days and I wished that these days never end .

In Navratri ,both Men and Women usually wear Colorful Costumes while performing Garba and dandiya . Girls wear Chaniya Choli which is decorated with beads,shells,mirrors,stars & embroidery works.Boys and men wear Kafni pyjamas with a Ghagra which is a short round kurta above the knees and Pagadi on head with Bandhani Dupatta,kada and morjis,Youth of India has a huge interest in Garba and they are enthusiatic and full of energy to perform Garba . There are events organised all over the Country wherein people prepare their groups and Dance.In Pune we have such events held at Koregaon park , Bibwewadi and many such places.India is blessed with such Beautiful and Glorifying Festivals .
